Tuition & Fees
The CUSM Board of Trustees reviews tuition and fees at least once annually. CUSM-SOM will make every effort to keep student costs to a minimum. All listed fees should be regarded as estimates that are subject to change.
1 Tuition - In and Out of State. Note that these fees may be refundable if a student withdraws within the first seven (7) days of the semester of enrollment. Please refer to CUSM Tuition Refund Policy on our webpage:
2 Registration Fee - Per the AMCAS Application and Acceptance Protocols, the initial registration deposit of $100 before matriculation is refundable until April 30 of the application cycle the applicant applied. After April 30th the registration fee is non-refundable fee.
3 MD General Fee - Non-Refundable. Equipment, Lab, Textbooks/Other learning media, Student association, Orientation, Disability insurance premium, Laptop, or tablet.
4 MBS General Fee - Non-Refundable. Textbooks/Other learning media, Student association, Orientation, Disability insurance premium, Laptop or Tablet.
5 Health Insurance Charge & Waiver Option - All CUSM students will automatically be charged for Student Health Insurance. This charge will appear on your Fall 2026 tuition bill. If you wish to waive or remove the Student Health Insurance charge from your billing statement, you must follow the instructions provided by the Registrar/Student Records office. It's important to remember that students who do not waive or opt-out by the specified deadline will be responsible for the health insurance cost.

5 25/26 Health Insurance Charge & Waiver Option - All CUSM students will automatically be charged $5,482.00 for Student Health Insurance. This charge will appear on your Fall 2025 tuition bill. If you wish to waive or remove the Student Health Insurance charge from your billing statement, you must follow the instructions provided by the Registrar/Student Records office. Waiver Submission are due by: Thursday, July 31, 2025 - No Exceptions. It's important to remember that students who do not waive or opt-out by the specified deadline will be responsible for the health insurance cost.
