White Coat Ceremony

2026 White Coat Ceremony
This year’s White Coat Ceremony celebrating the graduating class of 2030 will be held on:
Friday, July 17, 2026 | 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
The event will be held in-person at CUSM's Courtyard and live-streamed on this website.

White Coat Ceremony is a rite of passage for incoming first-year students as they are welcomed into the medical profession. This ceremony emphasizes the values of compassionate, collaborative, and scientifically excellent care right from the beginning of the student's medical education.

During the ceremony, CUSM faculty members will place white coats on the students to mark the students' lifelong journey in their medical career.

The ceremony concludes with the recitation of the Hippocratic Oath, a pledge taken by medical professionals to uphold patient care, confidentiality, and professional integrity.

The ceremony is a ticketed event for invited guests. Students will receive instructions for the event and ticketing information.

CUSM faculty or staff members who would like to attend this event should email communications@cusm.edu
