Computer Usage Support Policy for California University of Science and Medicine (CUSM) Students, Faculty, and Staff
Repair Loaners:
Students are eligible for loaner computers when their personal computers are undergoing repairs at an authorized repair facility. The loaned computer must be returned within seven days or upon completion of the repair, whichever occurs first. To qualify for a repair loaner, students must provide a repair authorization receipt, work order, or another official document indicating that their computer is scheduled for repair or is being repaired. This service is exclusive to CUSM MD students, faculty, staff, and other students are not eligible for repair loaners through this program.

Exam Loaners:
CUSM MD students can be provided with exam loaners for taking exams utilizing Examplify or Examsoft exam software. When a student's computer fails to meet the required exam qualifications or is otherwise unsuitable for running the exam software, CUSM IT can offer a loaner computer for the exam duration. Exam loaners must be returned promptly after the exam if provided during the certification period immediately preceding the exam.
